photo 2The Cycling Anthology series was created by Lionel Birnie and Ellis Bacon in 2012 to provide a home for brilliant, original writing about professional cycling.

The first volume was published in November 2012 and just two years on the team were celebrating the arrival of the fifth book in the series.

Initially published by Lionel’s company, Peloton Publishing, Yellow Jersey Press bought the rights at the start of 2014 and redesigned the jackets, reissuing the first three books with a fresh new look.
